Bread producersees output fall

BAKERY and pastry producer Šarišské Pekárne a Cukrárne, based in Prešov, produced Sk168.8 million (€4.2 million) worth of products in the first half of 2004.

This represented a year-on-year decrease of 7.3 percent.

The company's profits were Sk6.3 million (€157,600). Company analysts project that profits should reach Sk10.8 million (€270,100) by the end of 2004, the private news agency SITA wrote.
