Insurance market up 15 percent year-on-year

INSURANCE companies in Slovakia posted written premiums worth Sk27 billion in the first half of this year, a 15 percent growth year-on-year, the Hospodárske noviny daily wrote.

Life insurance premiums worth Sk9.5 billion were underwritten, while non-life insurance came to 17.5 billion. There are 27 active insurance companies in Slovakia.
