Reader feedback: Slovakia, expose yourself

Re: Slovakia losing its traditional tourists, Flash news briefs, Aug 29 - Sept 5, Vol 10, No 33

It is virtually impossible to get tourist brochures about Slovakia in England. Brochures that mention Bratislava are few and far between; destinations outside the capital are never mentioned. I had to write to the Slovak tourist board for brochures. They sent me five, which showed a beautiful unspoilt country with scenery to surpass most other European countries, and interesting towns and villages with customs and cuisine to tempt any traveller. There are many marvellous and hidden treasures. When will Slovakia present itself to the world?
