FORTY European countries began participating in the European Heritage Days last weekend. Slovakia, who entered the project for the 13th year, recently opened its International Photographic Experiment exhibition at the Slovak National Museum within its framework of events and will run until October 10.

The photographic contest is organised by the regional government of Catalonia and traditionally presents the best pictures taken by young photographers, whose object is to capture memorials and other heritage sites.
