Maros Sefcovic, a former senior Foreign Affairs Ministry official, has taken over as ambassador at the Slovak permanent mission to the European Union, the news wire TASR has reported.
The former European Affairs Director General will also represent his country on the Committee of Permanent Representatives for Foreign Policy, Finance and Justice and Interior Issues.
Sefcovic replaces the previous ambassador, Miroslav Adamis.
