Visegrad nations to pool job sites

THE BIGGEST online employment agencies in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Poland, have agreed to pool their internet databases, reported the daily SME.

The Visegrad Four alliance will effectively combine all employment vacancies posted on their databases: jobs.cz, profesia.sk, pracuj.pl and proffesion.hu.

According to international marketing consultancy Taylor Nelson Sofres, the web is one of the most productive tools for job searching. Slovakia's profesia.sk estimates that more than 75 percent of visitors to their site find suitable work.

The alliance is considering expanding its service to include agencies from other countries. Of the four web sites, pracuj.pl has the largest number of employment listings, at 30,000.
