Bridgestone and Denso may invest in Slovakia

THE JAPANESE companies Bridgestone, which makes car tires, and the car electronics producer, Denso Corporation, are in talks with the Slovak Agency for the Development of Investments and Trade (SARIO), on the possible placement of investments in Slovakia.

Economy Minister Pavol Rusko announced back in February this year the possiblity of the Bridgestone investment. According to the daily SME, he said at that time that the company could supply to Volkswagen and PSA Peugeot Citroen.
