Slovakia shares top spot in press freedom

A CHART published by the international journalists' organisation Reporters Without Borders puts Slovakia, along with seven other countries, at the top of the list for press feedom, according to the daily SME.

Joining Slovakia at the top of the list were northern European countries Denmark, Finland, and Norway, Iceland, Ireland, the Netherlands, and Switzerland.

The worst off this year were Cuba and North Korea, 166th and 167th respectively.

No European Union country was outside the top 40.
