Sykes over Košice

US company Sykes Enterprises is planning to invest Sk200 million (€5 million) to Sk240 million (€6 million) in a new regional headquarters in the eastern Slovak city of Košice.

Sykes Enterprises specialises in customer service and inbound technical support using phone, e-mail and chat. It operates technical help and customer support centres as well as provides large corporations with technical staffing and consulting.

Sykes intends to employ 150 people in its new regional call centre headquarters. The company will provide services to Vychodoslovenska energetika, an energy distributor firm, the Hospodárske noviny daily wrote.
