THE SLOVAK cabinet yesterday gave its approval for Martin Barto to be appointed vice-governor of the National Bank of Slovakia (NBS).
The nomination must be approved by parliament, the TASR news agency wrote. Once that happens, president Ivan Gašparovič will officially appoint Barto to the post.
