Inflation at 6 percent

THE ANNUAL inflation rate in Slovakia stood at 6 percent in November, the second highest in the EU, according to the European statistics office.

Only Latvia recorded a higher rate, 7.2 percent, according to the business daily Hospodárske noviny.


For the whole of the EU, the inflation rate was 2.2 percent.
