Reader feedback: Esperanto anyone?

Re: Commissioner at work, By David Ferguson, Volume 10, Number 49, December 20, 2004 - January 9, 2005

The dominance of English as the de facto language of Europe is a major problem for the EU. The best solution would be a neutral language creating a level playing field for everyone. I propose Esperanto. It is ideally suited for this role.
