President: Slovakia a reliable partner

AT A NEW year's meeting with the heads of local diplomatic missions, President Ivan Gašparovič said that in the year ahead Slovakia wants to demonstrate that it is a reliable ally in Euro-Atlantic integration groups.

The president added that the upcoming summit meeting between the US and Russia, to be held in Bratislava, represents an opportunity to do this, wrote the Pravda daily.
