Transport Ministry sets priorities

THE SLOVAK Transport Ministry announced that its priorities for 2005 are the building of the major D1 Highway and the preparation of a tender to find a strategic partner for improving airport infrastructure.

At the beginning of February the ministry plans to choose an advisor who will advise on finding trategic partners for Bratislava and Košice airports. Work on a pilot project in which private companies would build highways using their own funds will also get underway.
