THE BRATISLAVA summit meeting between US and Russian Presidents George Bush and Vladimir Putin will be "a very big step" in the dialogue between America and Russia, US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said in Luxembourg February 10.
Rice and representatives of the EU agreed that Washington and Brussels must continue dialogue and cooperation with Russia because the isolation of Moscow would not be good for the EU.
"We had a good discussion about Russia and agreed it will be a big step when Bush and Putin meet in Slovakia," said Rice.
"I'm convinced President Bush will come to a friendly atmosphere, where everybody is prepared to leave past conflicts behind and look to the future," she said.
