Bratislava castle spick and span for summit

THE RENOVATION of Bratislava castle's interior was completed on Friday February 18, parliament's communications director, Miroslav Šarišský informed the SITA news agency.

Restoration and refurbishment work started on February 3.

Labourers and craftsmen worked from the early morning hours till late in the evenings. Some architectural features have been completely restored as well as smaller alterations to artistic works.

Still ongoing is the furnishing of some rooms.

The renovation work will cost a total of Sk11 million (€273,280); Sk6 million (€149,060) was supplied by the cabinet and the rest will be forwarded from the budget of the Parliament.
