Activists complain about denial of rights

ŠTEFAN Szilva, a member of the Ani Putin, ani Bush (Nor Putin Neither Bush) initiative said that the US Embassy wants to restrict freedoms of speech and assembly by not allowing people to bring flags and protest placards into Hviezdoslavovo square, the TASR news wire reported.

Peter Wilfling of the Citizen and Democracy association,
said that expressing an attitude through a placard or banner is part of the citizens' constitutional right.
