SLOVAK veterans of operation Iraqi Freedom will be present when President Bush makes his speech in Bratislava on February 24, the Defence Ministry informed the SITA news agency.
Also attending the speech will be the families of Slovaks who have died in the conflict. President Bush wishes to honour the families of the three Slovak soldiers killed in Iraq in June 2004.
According to the ministry, the American administration requested the presence of Slovaks affected by the war in Iraq.
In his speech, President Bush will highlight the importance of Slovak soldiers' contribution in Iraq.
