US will negotiate visa policy

AFTER meeting Slovak Prime Minister Mikuláš Dzurinda US President George Bush said the US administration would negotiate the visa policy towards the Slovak Republic as soon as possible.

However, he could not yet give a concrete date.

The US President described talks with Slovak officials and the Prime Minister as very successful.

Dzurinda expressed support for an American foreign policy based on democracy and freedom.

"Slovakia needs a strong American president like George Bush," said Dzurinda.
