Putin in Bratislava

RUSSIAN President Vladimir Putin, accompanied by his wife Ludmila, arrived in Bratislava on February 24 at approximately 14.30, the news wire TASR reported.

Foreign Affairs Minister Eduard Kukan and members of the Slovak parliament welcomed him.

The president is heading to Bratislava castle where he will meet his US counterpart George Bush.

An official welcome will be held in the evening at the Presidential Palace.
