Slovakia to put visa issue on the table, Volume 11, Number 7, February 21 - 27, 2005

Slovakia has everything to gain from this [Bush-Putin summit] with one of the most important things being visa-free travel to the US.

Some people think this is a pipe dream but I suggest they cast their minds back to Bush-Putin I in 2001, which took place in, of all places, Slovenia.

Of the 8 eastern bloc countries in the new EU, which country is the only one that does not require a visa to travel to the US? Right, Slovenia.
