Reader feedback: More nuclear power

RE: Enel plans clear, Austria unhappy, Volume 11, Number 8, February 28 - March 6, 2005

The position of most Austrians, who opposed Austria having their own nuclear reactor, is hypocritical. A growing portion of Austria's electrical supply comes from nuclear plants in someone else's backyard.

Considering how squeamish many Europeans are when it comes to making electricity, Slovakia should start building many more nuclear reactors with the goal of becoming an exporter, like France.
