Citauxco to open plant in Nové Zámky

ANOTHER firm producing parts for the car industry is to set up shop in Slovakia.

Spanish company Citauxco will invest €25 million over the next eight years in a plant in Nové Zámky, the TASR news agency reported.

The company will produce tubes for car radiators as well as seals for domestic appliances. Citauxco recently took over part of the Sigma firm in Slovakia, which used to manufacture industrial pumps.

After revamping the production lines, Citauxo will begin manufacturing in September this year. Some 30 jobs will be created by September 2005 and another 20 by the end of the year.
