Reader feedback: Hefty fine

Re: Bill gets tough on smokers, Volume 11, Number 10, March 14 -20, 2005

If this bill gets passed it will mark quite a turnaround in official attitudes since I was in Slovakia in 2002. Then I was amazed by the lack of restrictions on smoking. The fine suggested for breaching the regulation is quite hefty I must say, too high in my opinion, and I am not a smoker.
