Search for best Slovak exporter

SLOVAKIA'S Economy Ministry, in cooperation with Eximbanka, launched the tenth annual competition to find Slovakia's best exporter.

Ministry spokeswoman Dagmar Hlavatá said that any exporting company could enter the category for which it meets the criteria, the TASR news agency reported.

In 2003, for example, tyre exporter Matador Púchov won a prize in the large-sized exporting company category.

In the medium-sized category, Humenská mliekáreň (dairy products exporter) won an award. In the category for small companies, Naturex Komárno, a canned vegetable products exporter, was among those honoured.
