Israeli hydro plant for Prešov

AN ISRAELI investor has signed a contract to build a hydroelectric dam in the Prešov region. The investment is valued at €28 million, Slovakia's Foreign Affairs Ministry said.

According to the weekly magazine Globus, Slovakia has given the investor an 88-year operational lease and undertaken to buy half of the produced energy.
