Demand for education minister’s recall

ECONOMY Minister and Chairman of the New Citizen’s Alliance, Pavol Rusko, demanded that the Christian Democrats (KDH) recall Education Minister Martin Fronc from his post, the daily Pravda reported.

The demand came following the debacle over the administration of the school-leaving exams. A total of 2,714 students have to re-sit the Mathematics examination, because some papers given out contained both the questions and the answer key.

The KDH says Minister Fronc should remain in his post and finish the reform programme that he has initiated, according to the daily.
