Arrow targets Rusko with threat

A GROUP calling itself Šíp (Arrow) is threatening to sabotage strategic business facilities in Slovakia if Economy Minister Pavol Rusko does not resign by the end of May, Presidium Police Corp Spokesman Vladimír Gemela told the TASR news agency May 2.

An investigating officer from Banská Bystrica is pursuing a scaremongering charge concerning the threat.

Police have already strengthened the protection of strategic facilities in Slovakia. They have also stepped up security surrounding the minister.

On April 27, the first threatening letter was posted to the Arts Faculty of Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica and police have been investigating the case ever since.
