KRAFT Foods will set up a European business services centre in Bratislava, dealing with financial and administrative concerns for the company's branches in 14 European states.

A similar centre will also be set up in Madrid, Spain, the company announced.

The centre will start operating in June 2005 and when fully up and running will employ around 200 people.

The company has already started hiring expert finance and accounting staff.
