In football: Artmedia smashes Celtic

SLOVAK football fans watched a dream unfold in a match that Slovak media has described as a “fairy tale”.

Bratislava’s Artmedia FC smashed match favorite Celtic Glasgow 5 to 0 in a preliminary round of the Champions League at Bratislava’s Tehelné pole pitch.

Artmedia’s Juraj Halenár managed to score a hat trick.

Some 17,000 fans at Tehelné pole were ecstatic watching the unexpected sensation, the SME daily wrote.
