SLOVAKIA'S Way Industry struck a deal to deliver 100 loading machines worth a total of $2.5 million (€2 million) to the Russian firm Universal Spectechnika.

According to the agreement, which was mediated by and signed at the Slovak embassy in Moscow, Universal Spectechnika will be Way Industry's exclusive distributor across the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), including Russia, the TASR news agency reported.

Way Industry is a manufacturing company based in Krupina (Banská Bystrica Region), which saw its universal loader Locust L853 product named as Best Engineering Product 2004 at the international mechanical engineering fair earlier this year in Nitra.
