Diplomats face off over net


FOR THE 12th year diplomats in Slovakia will meet for a tennis tournament on the weekend of October 1 and 2.

Over the years, the Diplomatic Tennis Tournament has become a significant sporting event in Slovakia. The country representatives will compete in singles as well as doubles matches, under official tennis rules.

Significant figures in Slovak political life, as well as well-known sports personalities will also take part. All the money collected for the event will go to charity.

The 12th year of the annual Diplomatic Tennis Tournament takes place under the auspices of Slovakia's Foreign Affairs Minister, Eduard Kukan, at the Slávia Právnik tennis club in Bratislava.
