Company offers Sk212 million for SND headquarters

A COMPANY called Humar expects to acquire the Slovak National Theatre (SND) headquarters building with an offer of Sk212 million (€5.5 million), Education Minister František Tóth announced on September 30.

The offer exceeded the price set in the official appraisal of the building (Sk115.1 million/€2.96 million) by almost Sk100 million (€2.57 million), and the purchase contract should be signed by the end of October, if Humar fulfils all conditions, TASR news agency wrote.

The runner-up offer, worth Sk151 million, was submitted by the Banská Bystrica-based Banka Slovakia.
