Budget deficit reaches Sk8.1 billion

THE SLOVAK government's budgetary performance ended in a deficit of Sk8.1 billion (€208 million) for the first nine months of this year, the SITA news agency reported. Compared with the same period last year the budgetary gap narrowed by Sk21.3 billion (€55 million). State budget revenues at the end of September were Sk188.6 billion (€4.5 billion), which is 73.3 percent of the volume planned for 2005.
