SLOVAKIA will send earthquake-hit Pakistan a humanitarian consignment containing tents, blankets, drinking water, heaters, stoves and basic medical material, Interior Minister Vladimír Palko told journalists after a working session with PM Mikuláš Dzurinda and other cabinet members on October 10.

A 10-tonne consignment worth several million crowns was transported to Pakistan by a special Interior Ministry plane on October 16.
