MARKETING communication company Omnicom Group has begun a global expansion of its media agency network, the PHD network, across Asia Pacific, continental Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In most markets the expansion will be completed by early 2006.
In late 2005 / early 2006 the expansion of Omnicom Group and PHD network will also take in Slovakia. Apart from PHD, Omnicom will also cover the OMD media agency network and other regional and local agencies.
"Establishing PHD in Slovakia will give us access to new sources and tools of Omnicom. It will also enable us to use the services of an alternative media network according to the individual needs of our clients. No matter whether a client opts to work with OMD or the new PHD, we will enable all our clients to fully benefit from sources and media buying position of Omnicom Media Group," said Marcela Podoláková, CEO of OMD Slovakia.
