ITALIAN company Enel will probably not start construction on the third and fourth blocks of the nuclear power plant at Mochovce in 2006 and 2007 respectively, as the management of the plant would like, the daily Pravda reported.
Enel wants once again to revise its Sk63 billion (€1.62 billion) investment. The start of works will be postponed to 2008.
"My wish is to invest immediately but it will not be possible to do it sooner than in 2008," Marco Arcelli, regional manager of Enel for Slovakia said. Another study on Mochovce by Enel should be ready by the end of 2006.
