Lintner group preparing establishment of new party

THE GROUP surrounding MP Ľubomír Lintner, which was forced out of the former ruling New Citizen’s Alliance (ANO), following the recall of ANO leader Pavol Rusko as Economy Minister, is preparing the establishment of their own party.

According to the daily Hospodárske noviny, the creation of the new party should announced be made next week.

Apart from Lintner, Culture Minister František is a co-founder of the new party and Economy Minister Jirko Malchárek should also join.

The new party’s name was not revealed as yet. According to former MP Imrich Hamarčák, several possible names are being considered.
