Zlatý Bažant goes to Russia

SLOVAK beer Zlatý Bažant will be produced and bottled in a plant in St. Petersburg as of next year. Until then bottled beer will be exported to Russia from Heineken Slovensko’s plant in Hurbanovo, Hospodárske noviny wrote.

Within a few days, licensed production of canned and draught beer will start in Heineken Brewery in St. Petersburg.

After Heineken and Buckler, Zlatý Bažant is the Heineken beer to be produced in Russia.

A new network called Heineken Rusko will secure the distribution of the beer. Apart from Zlatý Bažant, Kelt beer will also be sold in Russia. This brand will be made and canned in Slovakia and then exported.
