Rusko shoots himself in leg

PAVOL Rusko the head of the New Citizen’s Alliance (ANO), shot himself in the leg as he was cleaning his guns after a hunting trip on November 13, the SITA news agency reported.

Two bodyguards immediately rushed the former Economy minister to hospital in Bratislava.

Rusko was supposed appear at the Office of the Fight Against Corruption to give evidence concerning suspicions over corruption in parliament on November 14.

However, Rusko says he will be able to cooperate with the investigation from hospital and should be on sick leave for just one week.
