Tourism receives financial boost

IN 2006 Sk457.8 million (€11.75 million) should be allocated from state coffers to support the development of tourism in the country. The money will go to tourism centres and for projects in the regions.

A blueprint for tourism development in Slovakia presupposes that funds from existing contracts be used to co-finance projects, the SITA news agency reported.
