Windstorm warning

METEORLOGISTS are warning of a wind today and tonight that could be strong enough to uproot trees and damage roofs, the SME daily wrote.

The Slovak weather institute issued a warning that wind gusts may reach 55 to 90 kilometers per hour, and around 110 kilometers per hour at greater elevations.

A similar warning was issued a year ago before a windstorm devastated forests in the High Tatras mountains.
