THE SPP natural gas utility announced it will hike natural gas prices for companies and heat producers by about four percent as of January, as a result of recent talks with Russian company Gazprom-Export, the Pravda daily wrote.
The hike is not aimed at households. Gas prices for households will remain stable next year, the daily wrote, but private customers will likely feel the effects during the year.
SPP emphasised that Slovakia is not only country facing rising prices from Gazprom.
