THE CENTRAL European University (CEU) in Budapest is offering the Deborah Harding Scholarship for a Roma student in the 2008/2009 academic year.

The scholarship is awarded to a student interested in a one-year programme in public policy that focuses on improving critical thinking in dynamic problem solving. Students can choose from four specialisations: decentralisation; international public policy; media, information and communication policy; and higher education and management policy. The scholarship includes tuition and a contribution to accommodation and living expenses. Beside the usual documents required to apply to the CEU, the candidate must provide a motivation letter and describe previous experience and knowledge already gained in the area of public policy. The deadline for applications is June 16, 2008. For more information, contact Henriett Griecs at griecsk@ceu.hu or see www.ceu.hu/dpp.
