HZDS introduces its presidential candidate

The collection of signatures for the petition of the presidential candidate Milan Melník in the elections in 2009 will be launched on December 11. Melník is running for the post of Slovak president as an independent candidate with the support of the Movement for a Democratic Slovakia (HZDS).

"He is a personality without the baggage of the party’s history and without any stains from the privatisation mess," said HZDS member Tibor Cabaj.
