First electronic Public Procurement Bulletin issued on January 8

The Public Procurement Office (UVO) will be issuing its Public Procurement Bulletin solely in electronic form beginning in 2009.

The Public Procurement Office (UVO) will be issuing its Public Procurement Bulletin solely in electronic form beginning in 2009.

The spokesperson for the office, Helena Fialová, reported to SITA newswire that this is in response to the revised law on public procurement and changes and amendments to other related laws. The first issue of this e-bulletin was posted on Thursday, January 8, at the web site www.e-vestnik.sk.

It contained five announcements of public procurements and also information on fulfilment of a contract.
