Presidential candidate Ivan Gašparovič is the favourite of betting shops, with rates of 1.25-to-1 to 1.33-to-1 on his victory being offered online.

The odds of Iveta Radičová winning are between 3-to-1 and 4-to-1. František Mikloško’s odds are put at 10-to-1, Zuzana Martináková’s at 20-to1 and Milan Melník’s at 30-to-1. The victories of communist candidates Dagmara Bollová and Milan Sidor are both put at 101-1 by internet booking shop Bwin.com.

Bookmaker Doxx is offering 1.05-to1 on Gašparovič and 7.75-to-1 on Radičová; Total is offering 1.3-to-1 and 3-to-1 respectively; Fortuna offers 1.3-to1 and 3.4-to-1; Niké 1.33-to-1 and 3.30-to-1; and Victory-Tip 1.27-to-1 and 3.15-to-1. SITA
