MUSIC:FOUR MEMBERS of the former Collegium Musicum art-rock band, which performed between 1970 and 1979, including their leader, famous musician Marián Varga (in the picture), will give three concerts this week in central and eastern Slovakia. Well-known especially for its modern interpretations of classical music compositions, Collegium Musicum was among the most popular local ensembles. At present, it performs only occasionally. The concerts will take place at Košice’s Palace of Art (Moyzesova 66), Prešov’s Čierny Orol Culture and Leisure Park (Hlavná 50) and Banská Bystrica’s Palace of Culture (Námestie slobody 3) on March 30, April 1 and April 2 respectively, each starting at 19:00.
