The Cadastral Portal enables authorised access to land registry
data through which one can instantly obtain basic
information without a visit to the district cadastral registry
office and allows authorised persons to obtain summary and
detailed information without complicated correspondence.

Publication of land registry data via the internet is expected to
bring an enhanced database which will improve transparency
of property and legal relations, decrease corruption, increase
the reputation of the Slovak Republic abroad and reduce the
workload of district land registries and the Geodetic and
Cartographic Institute in the delivery of registry information.
