Three Slovak citizens are among 228 people on board the Air France flight from Rio de Janeiro to Paris which has gone missing, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Air France have confirmed for Slovakia's diplomatic representation in France via phone, according to the Slovak Foreign Affairs Ministry.
Passengers from 32 nationalities were on board in all, including nine Chinese, nine Italians, six Swiss, five Britons and five Lebanese, news wire Reuters reported.
Air France set up a crisis centre at the Paris airport along with emergency phone lines for families outside France at 0033 1 57 02 10 55, the Slovak Foreign Affairs Ministry said.
